Official Competition Rules & Guidelines
1. Team Eligibility & Limits
To ensure fair competition and smooth scheduling, competitors are only allowed to perform with one team. You cannot participate in multiple groups or submit more than one performance.
Teams must consist of a maximum of 8 members. No groups larger than 8 participants will be permitted on stage.
2. Performance & Audio Requirements
Your routine must be a minimum of 2 minutes and a maximum of 4 minutes. Any audio files longer than 4 minutes must be edited and cut to fit this limit prior to submission.
To keep the competition true to its roots, at least 75% of the original song’s choreography must be used during the performance.
Competitors must submit both their official Entry Form and Audio Form no later than August 2, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
3. Stage Safety & Content Policies
All competitors must keep their performances, music choices, and outfits PG-16.
The following items are strictly banned from the stage area for safety and cleanup reasons:
Stiletto High Heels (to protect the stage surface and prevent injury)
Confetti, glitter, or powder
Liquids of any kind
Items thrown directly into the audience
Jumping off the stage into the pit or crowd
Inappropriate, overly revealing, or vulgar outfits
Only pre-approved props will be allowed on stage. Teams are entirely responsible for carrying their props on and off the stage immediately before and after their performance.
4. Judging & Awards
Each performance will be evaluated by our official panel of judges based on the following criteria:
Execution: Technical skill, timing, and synchronization.
Cleanliness: Sharpness of movements, spacing, and formations.
Crowd Response: Energy, stage presence, and audience engagement.
Costuming: Visual appeal, cohesion, and appropriateness of the outfits.
Awards Category:
General Category Winners (determined by our official jury)
Audience Favorite Award (determined by crowd voting/response)
